What Are the Penalties for Violent Crimes in Washington?

Violent crimes are punished very harshly in Washington. The specific penalties you face will depend on the nature of the offense, the circumstances surrounding the offense, and your criminal history.

In Washington, violent crimes are generally classified as follows:
