Federal Drug Offenses

Drug offenses are a serious matter, especially at the federal level.

These offenses typically involve drug trafficking, distribution, or manufacturing on a large scale, and the consequences can be life-changing.

A federal drug conviction can lead to lengthy prison sentences and steep fines. Additionally, these crimes carry a strong social stigma, and suspects can suffer interpersonal problems with their loved ones.

Federal law enforcement agencies are constantly working, trying to dismantle drug trafficking organizations. Those who are caught up in the system will likely face a tough legal battle ahead.

If you or a loved one is facing a federal drug offense, reach out to us right away. The right attorney can help protect your rights and fight for your future. Let us be that team for you.

Repeat DUIs as a Federal Crime

Federal law mandates that DUI crimes will be elevated with each new offense. Second or subsequent DUI convictions come with a harsh penalty: mandatory license suspension for at least one year.

This suspension can either completely revoke your driving privileges, or it could force a 45-day suspension followed by restricted driving privileges for the rest of the year.

Furthermore, the federal government can get involved depending on where an alleged crime takes place. You can be charged with a federal DUI if you are accused of drunk driving on federal property. Such locations include military bases or national parks.

Whether you have been charged by the state or by the feds, our team is here to help you fight any DUI accusations.

Federal Misdemeanors

Many people assume that misdemeanors are “minor” crimes. Make no mistake, federal misdemeanors are serious matters, and they can lead to lengthy jail sentences. Federal misdemeanors typically carry a sentence of at least one year in jail and fines up to $5,000.

You should not take any misdemeanor allegations lightly, especially when they are federal. Even a misdemeanor criminal record can have a serious impact on your life.

Real People. Real Stories.

A very good and highly capable attorney!!
“I came to Albert over a domestic issue that I was facing that was false. Albert was able to get a dismissal of a violation of a order of protection I was wrongfully facing. Albert also took a lot of time to explain things to a person such as myself who had never been in this situation before. He was very helpful ,competent and reassuring. Not all attorney's are like this guy, you will be in good hands if you hire him. Thanks again Albert!!! Vincent R.”
