Educación y experiencia

Después de obtener su doble licenciatura en estudios internacionales y en derecho, sociedades y justicia por la Universidad de Washington, Rachel se graduó cum laude por laFacultad de Derecho de la Universidad de Seattle. Mientras estudiaba en la facultad de derecho se centró en el campo de la​ defensa y adquirió experiencia real participando en actividades extracurriculares. Trabajó en la Junta de Juicios Simulados, fue copresidenta del Gideon’s Army y miembro del Comité de Liderazgo para la Justicia Social. También fue asistente de investigación para la profesora Laurel Oates, quien fundó y​ desarrolló el programa de redacción jurídica de renombre mundial de Seattle U Law. Rachel también trabajó como voluntaria en la Clínica Legal del Vecindario del Condado de King, donde participó en gran variedad de servicios legales pro bono para​ clientes con bajos ingresos. ​​​

Carrera profesional

Rachel pasó los primeros cuatro años de su carrera legal trabajando en el campo de los derechos civiles, luchando por los derechos de las personas discriminadas. Rápidamente descubrió su pasión por el derecho penal y la representación de los acusados de delitos menores y comenzó a trabajar en Guadagno Law como abogada con licencia limitada para casos de la Regla 9. Su pasión por la defensa ferviente en los tribunales y la negociación para obtener los mejores resultados posibles para sus clientes la llevaron a convertirse en socia de Guadagno Law. Rachel tiene licencia para ejercer la abogacía en el estado de Washington.
